My main interest is how to synthesise (create) true intelligence using machines (I define intelligence as the ability to learn to act better in any environment)
Software development
Programming has always been interesting to me since I was 13 years old and starting with the Sinclair BASIC language. I have written some code in PHP, for instance a web development framework which is serving some sites like the FFII German regional site; Java ; Groovy. I have also learnt some C/C++ and had a look at Ocaml. Now I'm learning Python. However, I haven't yet found a language I really like. If the expressive Groovy only had all the advantages from C, like e.g. the speed
Contributions to the community
Some small contributions I have made so far to the open source community (many fixed bug reports, active participation in mailing lists, and donations to open source projects apart):
- A syntax file for GeSHi (for the Groovy programming language).
